A leaflet has been produced describing the steps to create a Dartmoor Haymeadow.

In partnership with the Environment Agency the project supported works to the weir to make it passable for salmon and trout

Working in partnership with the Environment Agency the project arranged for a survey of one of Dartmoor lesser known species Cryphaea lamyana

Community Partnership initiative to achieve biodiversity benefit in the Buckfastleigh and Lydford areas.

Papa Pump demonstration site
Action for Wildlife has installed a papa pump on farmland around Buckfastleigh

Powdermills haymeadow
The project provided assistance in the form of managment advice for this rare and important habitat

Princehall and Moorlands
The project provided funding to fence off an important area of valley mire

Salmon work along the Blackaton brook
As part of a collaborative project with the Environment Agency, the project supported works to improve habitat for salmon along the Blackaton Brook

Salmon Work on the West Webburn
Action for Wildlife, working alongside the Environment Agency and the farmer undertook around 300m of riverbank work on farmland along the West Webburn river. The work was mainly aimed at improving river habitat for Atlantic salmon.

South Teign
Continuing habitat management works in the Teign catchment

St Michaels Churchyard
The project provided help to a groups of local people interested in managing St Micheals Churchyard for wildlife

Wildlife Action Zones
The public are encouraged to help safeguard important salmon spawning areas through signs and education leaflets.

Wildlife pond at Runnage
Action for Wildlife worked with the landowner and farmer to offer advice and assistance to create a new wildlife pond on farmland at Runnage

Working for Wildlife
St. Lukes school pupils become conservation advisors for the day.
